Celebrations at LEARN help women workers from various slum communities to connect with each other, share their stories, dance, sing and get recognised for their bravery. Every year our team plans events for the important days of the year:

- International Women's Day
- Independence Day
- Labour Day/Maharashtra Day
- Children's Day
- International Human Rights Day
Every year on one of these special days, LEARN holds its ‘Bravery Awards’ night to felicitate poor women who have shown unwavering strength, resilience and courage in the face of severe hardship. Each winner narrates her story TEDx style, which is a powerful and moving segment of the event. Children of the Kori Paati Theatre group perform short skits, sketches, plays and dance at most of these celebratory events.
